Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber have been married since 2018 and recently welcomed their first child. Still, the couple has faced rumors of marital problems for years. Sources have even pointed to unrest in the earliest days of their relationship. A former employee of the couple said Hailey had to work hard to earn Justin’s affection.

In 2016, Justin and Hailey confirmed their relationship after a period of speculation. Later that year, however, they broke up. In 2018, they rekindled their romance and married soon after. Before their romantic connection, however, Hailey was a fan. She said she wasn’t a huge fan, though.
“I was never a superfan, of him or of anyone,” she said, per People. “It was never that crazed, screaming thing. I didn’t think about it in any kind of way except for the fact that he was cute.”
Still, a source who previously worked for the couple said Hailey had to overcome the fact that she was a fan of his.
“Hailey started off as a fan,” the source told Page Six. “She had to really prove herself to earn not just his love and the title of his wife, but the mother of his child.”
They believe she is a good fit for him after all she has done to support him.
“She’s really done a lot to make him feel safe … everything just being under a microscope, it’s a lot.”
Justin Bieber spoke highly of Hailey Bieber in a recent interview
After a recent Instagram post, fans have slammed Justin as an unsupportive partner to his wife. He spoke highly of her for her Vogue cover story, though.
“I’ve done a lot of dumb things in my life,” he said, “but the smartest thing I’ve ever done was marry Hailey.”
He also said that welcoming a child with Hailey has been bliss for him.
“I’m walking in the days I always dreamed of,” he said.
She has denied any rumors of marital problems
Justin’s loving words have done little to stem speculation about the state of his marriage. Sources constantly report on marital problems and impending divorce. Hailey said there is little truth to these stories.
“There’s a new headline every two days that makes no sense,” she said.
After giving birth, she said the reports about her life became harder to face.
“Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I’ve ever gone through in my life, and learning a new version of myself is very difficult,” she says to me. “And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, They’re getting divorced and They’re this and They’re not happy: It is such a mindf***. I cannot even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live.”
She said that what matters to her most is her family. She tries to brush off the rumors and focus on them.
“It’s not real,” she said. “And that’s the thing: I have a real life. My real life is that I get to wake up to my beautiful family and my son and my friends and I have people that know me and love me and I love them.”
Hailey said that Justin has helped her ignore the rumors, as he has been dealing with them for years.
