Nikki Bella was born Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace on Nov. 21, 1983, in San Diego. She’s exactly 16 minutes older than her sister Brie. The twins were raised just outside of Scottsdale, Arizona. Their grandfather is originally from South Philadelphia, which is why they’re such big Eagles fans.
Bella attended college in San Diego for a while but left school and relocated to Los Angeles. After working different jobs and participating in the 2006 WWE Diva Search, she signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2007. During the Dec. 18 episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Bella spoke candidly with her twin sister about dating, revealing, “It’s crazy because I actually haven’t been touched or done anything in so long. It’s funny when people call me a whore when I actually haven’t had intimacy in a really long time, even think of kissing.
“I haven’t even kissed someone in so long. It’s, like, kind of crazy. I was thinking of this last night: ‘Do I know how to kiss?’ You know when it’s been so long? I mean, I hope [I still do]. I’m about to make out with my pillow to make sure I still got it.”
Before she was linked to DeJean, Bella famously dated fellow wrestler John Cena for several years before marrying her former Dancing With the Stars partner Artem Chigvintsev. They divorced in 2024 following allegations of domestic violence and share one son.
DeJean, meanwhile, was dating Steph Wilfawn. The two met in college when they both attended the University of Iowa. They went Instagram official ahead of his rookie season in July 2024.
