It has been a busy October for Jenelle Evans. She’s made an enemy in Amanda Conner, feuded with Farrah Abraham, and took to social media to lambast her sister. Now that she’s back in Las Vegas, she’s set her sights, once again, on her ex-husband and his ex-girlfriend. In a move that comes as a shock to absolutely no one, Evans has further inserted herself into David Eason and Kenleigh Heatwole’s breakup drama by posting legal paperwork related to a restraining order Heatwole took out against Eason. Now, fans and followers are questioning how she got her hands on the document in the first place. Kenleigh Heatwiole has a theory.

Jenelle Evans posted a photo of David Eason’s latest restraining order

Jenelle Evans really can’t manage to stay out of other people’s business. Shortly after returning from a trip to North Carolina, she took to Instagram to answer fan questions. One fan allegedly asked the mother of three about the restraining order Kenleigh Heatwole was granted against David Eason. Evans didn’t just explain the situation; she chose to post a photo of a legal document that explained the reason for the order of protection. The upload, which was in a now-expired story, revealed that Eason had been harassing his ex-girlfriend and showing up at her home and in her bedroom at “ungodly hours.”

Heatwole had revealed some of what was disclosed in the paperwork herself. Still, the post still felt like a violation of privacy. Followers familiar with Evans and David Eason’s history were also concerned about how Evans got her hands on the paperwork in the first place. Several Reddit users questioned if Evans and Eason were, once again, in contact. Kenleigh Heatwole chimmed in with her own thoughts on how Evans came to be in possession of the papers.

Kenleigh Heatwole chimed in with a theory on how she got it

While Jenelle Evans is busy spreading David Eason’s business all over the internet, his ex-girlfriend is keeping tabs on what is going on. Kenleigh Heatwole took to X (formerly Twitter) to assure her followers that she hadn’t teamed up with the likes of Jenelle Evans and provided her with a copy of her restraining order. She does, however, have a theory on how she got it.

Heatwole doesn’t agree with fans who think Evans is back in contact with her dastardly ex-husband. Heatwole wrote that she thinks Evans took time out of her day and drove her “psychotic a**” down to the courthouse to get a copy while she was in North Carolina. Evans wouldn’t need approval of any kind to get her hands on the records. According to the Law Offices of James L. Arrasmith, an order of protection is considered a public record in the state of North Carolina, meaning the case files are searchable and “motivated parties” can easily get their hands on a physical copy of the case file, like Evans did. While most people probably wouldn’t go through all that trouble for drama that they are not involved in, we could see Evans doing it, even if it’s just for the ‘gram.

Kenleigh Heatwole and David Eason were first linked in April 2024. Their relationship started just two months after Jenelle Evans filed for legal separation from Eason. He quickly moved into her home, and she spent months defending the North Carolina native. In early September, things hit a rough patch, with Eason allegedly accusing Heatwole of cheating on him. They split on or around September 4. While followers briefly thought that they might be reconciled, it wasn’t true. Heatwole sought an order of protection instead.
