Kanye West has been extremely vocal about his support of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs amid his legal troubles. He’s thrown his support behind the disgraced music mogul on X (formerly Twitter) repeatedly and even lambasted other celebrities for stepping away from the drama. That support appears to be mainly confined to the digital realm. At the very least, it isn’t translating into a lot of time spent in court. Diddy has spent the last four weeks on trial, while Kanye West has spent the same four weeks in Spain, mostly in hiding. Witnesses have come and gone, and family members have sat in on hours upon hours of grueling testimony. Now that West is back stateside, he did pop in to see how things were progressing, but he never saw the rapper and only stayed at the courthouse for a few minutes.
Kanye West only stayed at Diddy’s trial for a few minutes
Kanye West opted to appear at the New York City courthouse where Diddy is on trial just once so far. During that visit, he never made it into the actual courtroom. He spent just minutes observing the legal process before heading out. According to TMZ, Kanye West only saw about 10 minutes of testimony before he left the courthouse. He did not reappear.
According to several sources, West arrived at the Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse on June 13 at approximately 11:00 a.m. His late arrival meant he did not get a seat in the main courtroom. Instead, he was placed in an overflow room, where testimony is piped in via monitors. He was spotted leaving the area around 11:40.
While his arrival and departure were captured by news organizations covering the trial, West did not offer any words and refused to answer any questions as he arrived and left. While some believed West might be testifying, that doesn’t appear to be the case.

Since his arrest, most celebrities have attempted to distance themselves from the disgraced mogul and his infamous parties. According to The Shade Room, Kanye West and Diddy have been in contact and even had a video call shortly before West appeared at the courthouse. The controversial music producer has also been in contact with Diddy’s sons. He connected with one of the mogul’s children during his brief court appearance, claim insiders.
