Indiana Pacers Center Miles Turner and His Girlfriend Aysia Janelle McCloud Share a Birthday, But Who’s Older?
Indiana Pacers player Myles Turner and his girlfriend, Aysia Janelle McCloud, made their relationship Instagram official in 2023 when they shared a carousel of photos together. That same year, the pair made headlines when they dressed up as Han Solo and Princess Leia for the Pacers’ Star Wars night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Since then, the two haven’t been shy about sharing their love for each other on social media and they also share the same birthday. But who was born first?
Read on to find out the answer to that, plus why McCloud threw a huge surprise party for her man that didn’t have anything to do with his birthday.
Who’s older Turner or McCloud?
On March 24, 2025, McCloud posted some pics and video on Instagram of a party Turner threw her for her 30th birthday and captioned it: “Brought in 30 with my absolute favorite people. Thank you to my maaaan, who made it possible. I cried the whole time. So so thankful.”
March 24 is also Turner’s birthday and the last clip shows McCloud’s guests singing “Happy Birthday” to him.
Turner and McCloud were born on the same day, but not in the same year.
The athlete was born on March 24, 1996, while his girlfriend was born on March 24, 1995, making her one year older.
McCloud threw Turner a big surprise party, but it wasn’t for his birthday
In a piece Turner wrote for The Player’s Tribune in May 2025, he talked about a party McCloud threw for him, but it wasn’t to celebrate his birthday.
“My girlfriend said she wanted to have a date night, and she wanted to do something ‘Western.’ If you know me, then you know that’s not that weird — I’m a Texas boy, I love cowboy s***,” Turner explained. “So I put on some jeans, put on my boots and I was like, ‘OK cool.’ Didn’t think anything of it.
“Then before we left for the restaurant, she said, “Let’s stop by your sister’s place on the way, I need to grab something.” Again, didn’t think anything of it. “OK cool.” We get there — it’s one of those condos where they’ve got these nice event spaces for meetings and stuff in the building. And my girlfriend tells me my sister is in one of them studying, so that’s where we’ve gotta go. ‘OK cool.'”
Turner continued, “We walk in, and…………… yeah. Western theme everywhere. All my favorite Texas food. Cocktails with my favorite whiskey. Balloons, streamers. And 40-some of my closest people, wearing these cowboy hats that my mom made for everyone, yelling out ‘SURPRISE!!!!!’ I was speechless for real. Like — just to be able to celebrate something like that, with the ones who’ve been there for me most on the journey? It’s hard to even put in words how dope it was. I’ll never forget it.
“Finally, I turned to my girlfriend and said it out loud. ‘This is amazing. Except … what the f*** are we celebrating?’”
The party was to commemorate Turner being in the league for 10 years, but as he put it: “It isn’t just 10 years in the league. It’s 10 years in one city. It’s 10 years as an Indiana Pacer.”
