A look at Jeff Bezos’ Beverly Hills estate
In 2020, Bezos purchased the stunning Warner Estate from media mogul David Geffen for $165 million. Today, it’s worth a whopping $175 million.
The 13,600-square-foot Georgian-style mansion with eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms originally belonged to Jack Warner, the late former president of Warner Bros Studios. His widow, Ann Warner, reportedly declined a $25 million offer for the estate after he died in 1978, saying she would live there until she died, which she did. Geffen bought it after that.
It sits on nine acres of land and was built in the 1930s. It has antique wood flooring imported from overseas and that are believed to have been walked on by Napoleon and where he proposed to Empress Josephine.
According to the Los Angeles Times, after Geffen bought the place, “he auctioned off about $11 million of the mansion’s furnishings, which he thought [were] too musty and museum-like.” However, he kept the imported wood floor.
Bezos has reportedly spent millions on some renovations of the interior. In addition to the main house, there are also two guest homes, a security guard house, and three greenhouses. Some of the countless amenities include expansive terraces and gardens, a basketball and tennis court, a reef-themed swimming pool and spa, a gym, a nine-hole golf course, an automobile service garage, and private gas pumps.
Bezos also picked up a neighboring property for $10 million. That boasts 4,615 square feet. It features three bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. It also includes six fireplaces, French doors, a brick courtyard for entertaining, and spacious gardens with various vegetables and rose blooms.
Other properties the billionaire owns
The Beverly Hills compound isn’t the only impressive piece of real estate that Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez, can call home.
They own several other luxury properties, including multi-level apartments in Manhattan’s Lincoln Square’s Century Building, a Figure 2 Ranch in the Texas town of Van Horn, the most expensive house on La Perouse Bay in Maui, and a luxury abode in Miami’s ultra-exclusive Indian Creek Island, also known as the “Billionaire Bunker.”
In 2024, Bezos dropped $90 million on the Miami mansion. It sits on more than four acres of prime bayfront real estate. His elite club of neighbors includes Tom Brady, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner.
