Inside NFL Star Myles Garrett’s Ohio Mansion With Elaborate ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Terminator’ Displays
After playing his college ball for the Texas A&M Aggies, Myles Garrett was selected by the Cleveland Browns with the No. 1 pick of the 2017 NFL Draft. He made history in his rookie year as the youngest player to have 10 sacks in a single season.
Garrett has since become an absolute force on the field. He’s the 2023 AP Defensive Player of the Year, the Sporting News 2024 Defensive Player of the Year, a seven-time Pro Bowler, and one of the best all-around defensive ends in the league.
On March 9, 2025, the athlete signed a four-year contract extension with the Browns for $160 million. That includes $123.5 million guaranteed and makes Garrett the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
“The money didn’t mean much to me,” he told Cleveland.com. “It’s nice to have the security, having it guaranteed and not being out there and knowing that if I got hurt, there would be nothing for the rest of my career that they had to give me. And that’s kind of security for my family and the family I hope to have in the future. But it was always about achieving the potential that I knew I had and working together and to create something that would stand the test of time.”
Fans are elated that the defensive superstar will remain in Cleveland not only for what he does on the field but also because they look forward to the displays he puts up for Halloween every year as his decorations are so elaborate they make the local news.
Garrett’s Wadsworth, Ohio, residence has become famous thanks to his over-the-top Halloween decor. News stations in the Cleveland area as well as the NFL and other sports outlets, have shown Garrett’s amazing yard displays.
He’s had everything from a Terminator-themed display to a Stranger Things theme. One year, there was a graveyard display with jerseys of the quarterbacks he’s sacked, ranging from career journeymen to league superstars and future Hall of Famers including Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and Lamar Jackson.
When asked to rank his list of superstar quarterbacks he’s taken down, Garrett told the Akron Beacon Journal, “Top five list, top 10 list? I’m sure Pat (Mahomes) will be on there. Ben (Roethlisberger) would be on there. (Tom) Brady would be on there. Let’s see, I think one day (Justin) Herbert will be in there. He’s going to be a Hall of Famer one day, but after that, I don’t know. Hell, I don’t remember all the names I’ve sacked. I’m just worried about the next one.”
So now that fans are familiar with the outside of his house, what do we know about the inside? Well it’s pretty impressive too.
Garrett’s home is located in the Medina County suburb about 40 miles outside of Cleveland. He purchased the property in 2018 for $1.2 million. The house sits on a sprawling two-acre lot filled with lush landscaping and plenty of room to boast his large displays, while the inside has 4,333 square feet of living space with five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
The home features a modern kitchen adorned with charming cabinets and top-of-the-line appliances. Some of its other amenities include a state-of-the-art home gym, a movie theater, a basketball court, and a cozy fireplace.
