Insider Shares How Often Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner Talk After Avoiding Each Other at the Golden Globes
Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner both attended the 83rd Golden Globes and posed on the red carpet, but the two were not photographed together. And while many other stars were seen mingling and chatting throughout the night, the women did not speak to each other during the ceremony on Jan. 11.
An insider told the Daily Mail that the reason the actresses did not interact despite being in the same room was intentional, explaining, “They don’t want to drum up headlines by posing together at an awards show; that would be awkward. They don’t want to create a fuss because it would be hard for the kids.”
Garner shares children Violet, Fin, and Samuel with Ben Affleck, while Lopez shares twins, Max and Emme, with Marc Anthony. While Lopez and Affleck were married, Emme and Fin became very close and remain tight to this day.
Given the friendships of the children, sources say that Lopez and Garner still talk and see one another quite a bit, adding, “I am pretty sure they see each other like once a week because of the kids, and they talk on the phone, they are co-parenting in a way, even though Lopez divorced Ben.”
But it’s not just Fin. Lopez has also been seen out and about with Samuel and Violet a few times since her split from their father.
“They are like one big modern family, which is nice. They have all been in solid therapy and understand the importance of getting along for the sake of the kids,” the source claimed. “Also, Garner is very cool about everything; she is a no-drama lady, so there was no way there was ever going to be any weirdness. She is like the nicest person in Hollywood.”
