Insiders Claim Victoria and David Beckham Are Interested in Reconciling With Brooklyn but Not Nicola

The Beckham family’s rift started as quiet whispers in the media many months ago. Now, it has exploded inot a full-blown spectacle. While David and Victoria Beckham have remained mostly quiet following their son, Brooklyn Beckham’s, scathing social media review of them as parents, they might be ready to talk soon. For now, insiders are doing the talking, and according to recent reports, it looks like the Beckham family’s feud will last as long as Brooklyn Beckham is married to Nicola Peltz.

Victoria and David Beckham won’t be welcoming Nicola back into the fold

David and Victoria Beckham have not spoken directly about the rift with their son. At least they haven’t spoken on the topic in a substantial way just yet. An insider, however, claims that the Beckhams have been talking to those in their circle.

People spoke to an insider who claims the Beckhams are desperate to reconcile with their eldest son and would do so in a heartbeat, but only on certain terms. The insider, who was not named, alleges that David and Victoria are only interested in reconnecting with Brooklyn and have no interest in repairing or building a relationship with Nicola Peltz. While it has largely been suggested that the drama all started in the lead-up to Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 wedding, sources claim there was tension between the Beckhams and the younger couple from pretty early on in the romance. Brooklyn and Nicola began dating in late 2019 and announced their engagement in June 2020. They married in April 2022.

Brooklyn Beckham has made it pretty clear that he has absolutely no interest in reconciling with his parents. He emphasized he would feel that way whether or not Nicola Peltz is in the picture. In the scathing social media post that kicked off the very public feud, Brooklyn insisted he was not being controlled. He went on to say he had resented his parents and their brand-building ventures since he was a child. While he claims Nicola isn’t behind the rift, she has certainly been supporting him. That fact alone would complicate a reconciliation with his parents.

While the insider claims David and Victoria Beckham would welcome their son back with open arms, their reported stipulation means the ice won’t be thawing anytime soon. Brooklyn appears to be incredibly dedicated to his marriage. He feels supported by both Nicola and her extended family and friends. The distance, with Brookyln and Nicola calling Beverly Hills home, has also made the rift easier to navigate. For now, the Beckhams will remain at war, even if media coverage of them quiets down.
