The heat on 50 Cent and Ja Rule’s longstanding feud just got turned up. While 50 Cent’s focus in recent weeks has been promoting his documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, Ja Rule has been talking on X (formerly Twitter). He definitely has some powerful feelings. Ja Rule has denounced the rapper for making the documentary. He even suggested he’s considering making a documentary about his longstanding rival since there is “a lot to unpack.”

Ja Rule denounced 50 Cent’s documentary and wished Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs luck

Ja Rule has been popping off on X (formerly Twitter)about his nemesis, 50 Cent, for weeks. The release of the Netflix documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning seems to have really gotten under his skin. In one Tweet about the docuseries 50 Cent served as an executive producer on, Ja Rule called his rival a “rat” for releasing content that further exposed the disgraced mogul.

The tweet calling 50 Cent a rat is far from the first time Ja Rule has expressed his feelings about Diddy’s downfall. A previous tweet, in which he wished the disgraced rap mogul luck as he battled a slew of sexual abuse claims, suggests he is one of Diddy’s supporters. While most people have attempted to distance themselves from Diddy, a couple of music artists have leaned into supporting him. Knaye West, for example, has been outspoken about his support of the mogul, though West’s support for unusual and controversial things is not uncommon.

Ja Rule suggests he’ll be working on a documentary of his own

Ja Rule didn’t stop at calling his biggest rival a “rat.” Apparently, he wants the rapper and entrepreneur to get a taste of his own medicine. In a more recent series of tweets, the “Always on Time” artist said he was considering filming a documentary about all of 50 Cent’s questionable behavior and the allegations against him.

Ja Rule pointed out that his nemesis has been accused of assault, vandalism, and domestic violence over the years. He has settled lawsuits and had a former lover accuse him of setting a house on fire. Those claims have never led to formal convictions. Still, Ja Rule suggests that it is only fair that 50 Cent’s allegations are made public, too. He has plenty of people who support his take. There are also plenty more who question Ja Rule’s integrity and his claims that he is morally superior to his rival. After all, he has defended Diddy. His own longstanding feud with 50 Cent seems to be further driving his disdain. 50 Cent’s motivations have also been called into question, though.

Whether that documentary will ever be made, regardless of his motivations, seems doubtful.
