Those rumors have resurfaced again, but an insider insists a return to Bravo is a no-go for Laurita.

The Real Housewives of Orange County is down a couple of housewives. Bravo is reportedly on the hunt to fill the roles. While new faces are being considered, they are also open to bringing back old network favorites. They’ll need to look elsewhere than Jacqueline Laurita, though.

In recent years, speculation has surfaced that Laurita could resurface on The Real Housewives of Orange County. The rumors make sense, given her move to the area a few years ago. While fans point to her Bravo history and her connection to some of the show’s stars, making her a natural fit, Laurita has not confirmed any plans to appear. Nothing has ever come of the rumors. Now, someone familiar with the situation is speaking out. An insider claims the mother of three has been approached multiple times about rejoining the Bravo family. She even got pretty close to accepting a role recently.

An insider who spoke with Radar Online claims Jacqueline Laurita was deep in talks to join The Real Housewives of Orange County for season 20. She ultimately decided against returning to reality TV, though. The same insider told the publication that it is far from the first time Laurita has been offered a spot on another Bravo show, but it’s the only time she’s actually considered it. At the end of the day, the financial compensation simply was not enough to draw her back in front of the cameras. She did, however, pop up during a stop for The Real Housewives Ultimate Road Trip

Why did she leave Bravo?

Jacqueline Laurita was one of the original The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members. Still, she never really “took” to reality TV life. Laurita found the filming and drama difficult. Over the years, she has said the process was stressful, since the drama from the show often bled into her real life.
