Has Jay-Z Ever Responded to Nicki Minaj’s Jabs?
After the Grammy Awards, Nicki Minaj revisited her ongoing feud with Jay-Z. In a post about host Trevor Noah, who joked about Minaj during the ceremony, Minaj included an image of Jay-Z. She has posted about him a number of times since the ceremony, and habitually brings up their feud on social media. Has Jay-Z ever responded to Minaj’s jabs, though?
Nicki Minaj is in a seemingly one-sided feud with Jay-Z
Minaj’s problems with Jay-Z seem to stem from her connection to his streaming service, Tidal. Minaj partnered with the company and claimed she did not receive fair compensation after Jay-Z sold it for $302 million in 2021.
She also heavily criticized Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show, believing that Lil Wayne should have performed instead. Jay-Z’s Roc Nation produces the show each year.
Minaj has since accused Jay-Z of spending time with underage girls while he was an adult. In her posts during the Grammys, she shared images of Jay-Z with Beyoncé and Aaliyah and accused him of being in inappropriate relationships with them. She also posted a picture of Rymir Satterthwaite, who claims to be Jay-Z’s illegitimate son.
Despite the consistency of her posts about him and dedication to keeping their feud alive, Jay-Z has remained quiet on the matter. At this point, it seems unlikely that he will say anything about his relationship with Minaj.
