Jenelle Evans might be interested in revisiting the past, now that she’s been without a romantic partner for the better part of a year. While Evans has been pretty public about her feelings of disdain for her ex-husband, David Eason, she might be willingly entertaining him again in private. David Eason was spotted in Las Vegas with Jenelle Evans this week. While initial reports indicate he was in Sin City while Ensley Eason was hospitalized, it looks like he’s been spending a bit of extra time with his former wife. Here’s everything we know so far.
David Eason and Jenelle Evans have been hanging out together
It has been two years since David Eason and Jenelle Evans officially separated, but it’s possible toxic love might still find a way. The very messy former couple reunited in Las Vegas, and it seems they were having a fair bit of fun. According to the Ashley Reality Roundup Group, Jenelle and David were together while he visited his hospitalized daughter. He didn’t immediately head home after her medical emergency was under control, though.
According to the outlet, David and Jenelle hung out with the kids, spent time together at a restaurant, and a video of David driving Jenelle’s car has even surfaced. Jenelle has been suspiciously quiet about the situation, which further suggests something romantic might be in the works. Jenelle previously suggested she was open to revisiting a past love, but she meant Keifer Delp. Her possible reconciliation with David comes as a shock.
They both have had other relationships
After their split in February 2024, both Evans and Eason moved on. He started dating Kenleigh Heatwole. She moved out to Las Vegas to be closer to her manager-turned-boyfriend-turned-nemesis, August Keen. Jenelle’s relationship crashed and burned first, with August calling things off by December 2024. In February 2025, Jenelle claimed she had been played by her former love. She claims he was still very much in another relationship while they were together. The former Teen Mom 2 star appears to have gone on a few dates since, but nothing has stuck.
David, for his part, had a long-term relationship with Kenleigh Heatwole. The couple started hooking up just weeks after his split from Evans. He moved into her home and off his non-operational boat shortly thereafter. They appeared happy together, with Kenleigh openly and aggressively defending her man. Things fell apart pretty rapidly in September 2025. Keneligh took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that David had accused her of cheating before they split. She later sought, and was granted, a restraining order, as most of David’s exes do.
Kenleigh has been busy posting vague updates on social media since news of David and Jenelle spending time together broke. She surely will have more to share in the coming days.
