Jenelle Evans has three kids to care for, but she’s been spending most of her time out and about or on social media. Over the weekend, she used a bit of downtime to answer questions on Instagram, and several of them were related to Nathan Griffith and his ongoing legal troubles. Followers want the former Teen Mom 2 star to focus on her two sons and daughter.

Jenelle Evans answers questions about Nathan Griffith’s arrest

Jenelle Evans is taking questions about Nathan Griffith after her revelation that Griffith contacted her minutes before he was arrested. During a recent Instagram Q&A, Evans claimed that Kaiser Griffith, the child she shares with Nathan, is aware of his father’s legal situation. She claims the 10-year-old, who hasn’t seen his father in years, overheard her speaking to Griffith’s ex-partner on the phone. She claimed the pre-teen wishes his dad would “focus” on something other than women.

While Evans knowingly threw herself into Griffith’s legal drama, she insists there isn’t romance in the air. In another Instagram question, she claimed there was no chance she and Griffith could have worked out romantically. Evans claims their relationship would have failed because he is a “cheater.” Oddly enough, she never mentioned his propensity towards violence, despite calling the police on him herself when they were together.

Nathan Griffith, the former fiancé of Jenelle Evans, was arrested on April 23, 2025, in Las Vegas. According to court documents, Griffith, 37, is accused of strangling his 21-year-old ex-girlfriend, Anastasia Biddle. Biddle took to TikTok to share her side of the story after Jenelle Evans shared a “storytime” revealing her supposed involvement in the fallout. Evans was lambasted by followers once already for harassing Biddle, both in her storytime and by crashing Biddle’s TikTok Live.

Jenelle Evans slammed by followers for focusing on Nathan Griffith

Evans’ unwavering need to insert herself into Nathan Griffith’s latest legal battle isn’t sitting right with everyone. After Evans began a smear campaign against Biddle, followers called her out. They haven’t stopped calling her out, and her recent Q&A is no different.

Following Evans’ post, followers took to Reddit to discuss Evans and Griffith, their reported love triangle, and how the former reality TV star behaves. Several critics questioned Evans’ continued involvement in Nathan’s legal battle, her sudden closeness to his former partner, and why she can’t just focus on her children.

Evans’ inability to focus on her kids instead of a romantic relationship and petty drama has been called out many times over the years. The stakes, however, feel even higher now. Jace Evans and Kaiser Griffith have reportedly been in trouble recently. They are completely isolated from family and friends back in North Carolina, and their mother is largely absent, too. Followers want to see Jenelle back away from the drama and focus on all three of her children. Sadly, that appears unlikely to happen.

Nathan Griffith could be facing years behind bars

While Jenelle Evans continues to defend Nathan Griffith on social media, the justice system is unlikely to be as generous. Nathan is a repeat offender who has found himself in legal trouble several times already, including in Nevada. Because of his history of violent behavior, he could face years behind bars.

He was also arrested for a strangulation incident in February 2023 in Florida. Those charges were dropped.

Griffith faces a potential prison term of between 12 months and 48 months. He will be back in court on May 6.
