Jenelle Evans has spent the last week sitting for interviews and insisting her kids were doing well. Things are not going all that swimmingly for her eldest child, though. 15-year-old Jace Evans’ living situation has reportedly changed again. The teen was moved out of his mother’s house last month. Evans sent him to live with his father in Florida, but it didn’t last long. The sudden move came after Jenelle Evans placed a harrowing 911 call about the teen’s behavior. Now, an insider says the environment he was sent to is no more stable than Evans’ house. Jace Evans, whose birth was documented by MTV, is once again displaced from his home, claims the source. Jenelle Evans has been caught in a big lie. Over the last week, she has appeared on podcasts and even sat down for a chat with Access Hollywood. During both Appearances, the mother of three was asked about Jace Evans. She was more than happy to claim the teen was doing very well in his current living situation.

She alluded to the teen enjoying the Florida weather and all of the outdoor activities the state has to offer. While Evans made it sound like her decision to send Jace Evans to a new home worked out in the end, that, apparently, couldn’t be further from the truth. According to an insider, Jace’s placement with his biological father was short-lived and was never a good fit, regardless of what Evans claims.

The teen is reportedly not living with his father any longer

While Jenelle Evans claims Jace is doing well living with his paternal family, an insider is calling that a lie. The Ashley Reality Roundup Group connected with an insider familiar with the situation. They told the outlet that not only is Jace not doing “well” with his paternal family, but that he is no longer living with Andrew Lewis.

The insider claims that Jace Evans spent less than two weeks in the home. He was sent to live elsewhere on or around May 20. News that Jace was moving to Florida broke after he was spotted on a flight from Las Vegas on May 9. The insider said Andrew Lewis is in no position to raise a child. The insider claims Evans didn’t vet the boy’s biological father or his family before sending him to live with them.

It is unclear where Jace is currently living. Evans once said she was exploring facilities that could assist Jace with some of his behavioral struggles. She opted against the options because of the price tag. Barbara Evans, the woman who raised the teen until Evans regained custody in 2023, has not spoken out about the situation. Still, it appears she’s aware of the problem and distressed by the issues troubling Jace, based on a police report for speeding obtained by The Ashley.

Jenelle Evans was granted full custody of Jace Evans in March 2023 after a years-long court battle. Jenelle signed custody of her firstborn over to her mother just months after his birth in 2009. While she had visitation rights, Jace did not reside with her. Barbara reportedly agreed to return the teen to Evans after his behavioral struggles grew too complex for her to handle.
