Jenelle Evans is happy to be calling it quits with David Eason. A year and a half after filing for legal separation, the former Teen Mom 2 star is getting around to legally ending her marriage. Former reality TV star, Jenelle Evans, had decided that June 2025 is a new beginning; at least that’s when she’ll be hosting a divorce party. The mother of three connected with Page Six to announce her plans to host a divorce party on June 12 to celebrate the end of her marriage to David Eason. She said the end of her marriage is like hitting a ‘reset’ button on her life.

The party will be hosted at the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Club in New York City. Evans currently lives in Las Vegas. It is unclear what she plans to do with her three children, all of whom he has sole custody of, while she celebrates the end of her marriage.
Other celebrities have had divorce parties, too
Jenelle Evans’ planned divorce party isn’t anything particularly unique. The concept has been growing in popularity over the last several years. Rumor has it that even Kim Kardashian hosted an event after the end of her tumultuous marriage to Kanye West, although she did not publicize it.
Responses to Jenelle’s big announcement are largely negative
Despite the rising popularity of divorce parties, Teen Mom fans are far from amused by Evans’ plans. Immediately following the news, followers ran to Reddit to discuss the party plan. Several fans pointed out that she has other things she should focus on. Others suggested the last year of her life has been one big ‘divorce party.” Since her 2024 move, she’s shared photos of her drinking, dining, and clubbing regularly on Instagram.
Neither David Eason nor his new love, Kenleigh Heatwole, has commented on the announcement just yet. Still, we suspect Heatwole will be throwing shade at Evans sooner rather than later. The 25-year-old photographer and Evans periodically engage in a social media war. This subject matter is likely to reignite it.
