When you think about celebrities, do you ever think about what they do in their downtime? It’s hard to imagine a celebrity sitting on their couch typing out snarky replies on social media under a pseudonym, but, apparently, that’s precisely what Jennifer Lawrence is up to between flicks. During a recent interview, the Red Sparrow star admitted that when she has some free time, she enjoys indulging in her secret life as a TikTok troll. She claims it all started innocently enough, but now she’s a full-blown “rage-baiter.”

Jennifer Lawrence has a ‘secret life’ as a TikTok troll

Jennifer Lawrence recently made a wild confession. During a Fandango interview with Robert Pattinson, Lawrence shared what she does in her free time, and it’s equal parts relatable and unbelievable. She revealed that she has a “secret life” on TikTok. Pattison, shocked, asked her if she had separate fans on the platform. In a coy moment, she giggled, insisting she wouldn’t call them her “fans.”

From there, the famed actor revealed that she has an anonymous account that she uses to troll the comment section. She insists the whole thing started innocently enough, with her commenting on The Real Housewives franchise and The Kardashians, but quickly devolved into her becoming a troll in the comments section on videos focused on the British Royal family. Lawrence didn’t share her pseudonym or how often she finds her way into the comments section. Still, we can’t help but wonder whether we’ve seen a comment from Lawrence about Andrew Mountbatten Windsor or any of the other royals. She fully confesses to posting “rage bait.” Rage bait is a type of content whose sole purpose is to elicit a reaction from people.

Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson are promoting a film together

Jennifer Lawrence’s admission might seem like it came out of nowhere. It’s certainly an unexpected admission, but fans have come to expect that from Lawrence. The interview, which just featured Robert Pattinson and Lawrence asking each other questions, is connected to their new project together.

The flick, which originally debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in May, follows a young couple who leave New York City behind to settle in a small rural town in Montana. What starts off as a tranquil life unravels as isolation and mental health struggles take hold. The film is based on a book of the same name. It was released nationwide on November 7 to rave reviews.
