Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Reunited for Lunch and a Shopping Trip

Less than a year after finalizing their divorce, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez reunited for lunch and holiday shopping with his son, Samuel. Lopez and Affleck ended their marriage in 2024, but they’ve reportedly wanted to maintain good relationships with one another’s children. As a result, they had a friendly lunch and shopping trip ahead of the holidays.

On Dec. 21, Lopez arrived at Los Angeles’ Brentwood Country Market. According to photos obtained by Page Six, she met Affleck and Samuel for lunch at Farmstop. After their meal, the trio went shopping at Sezane and Doen, two upscale stores. When they finished shopping, Lopez left separately from Affleck and his son.

Their meet-up comes shortly after Lopez and Affleck saw each other at a Los Angeles playhouse where their children were performing. The former couple appears to be on relatively good terms. Still, anyone hoping for a third Bennifer reunion will likely be disappointed. Sources say that the former couple get along much better when they’re not in a romantic relationship.

This hasn’t impacted the relationship they have with each other’s children, though. Their kids have maintained relationships with their former step-parents.

“The kids are still really close,” an Affleck source told People. “They have the same groups of friends, they see each other and they talk all the time. They make sure the kids know they get along. The most important thing to both of them is raising their kids in a supportive environment, so they plan to stay in each other’s lives.”

Affleck is the father of Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, and Lopez is the mother of twins Max and Emme with Marc Anthony.
