Jennifer Lopez’s Ex-Husband Accuses Her of ‘Cheating and Lying,’ Says She Should Feel ‘Ashamed’
Jennifer Lopez’s comments in a recent interview hit a nerve with her ex-husband, Ojani Noa. Lopez and Noa married in the early days of her fame and divorced after less than a year. Lopez has gone on to marry three more times. She said she didn’t think her former husbands were capable of loving her. Noa slammed her, saying she was the problem in her relationships.

After her relationship with Noa, Lopez wed Cris Judd in 2001, Marc Anthony in 2004, and Ben Affleck in 2022. These marriages ended in divorce, and Lopez doesn’t think any of them truly loved her.
“What I learned, it’s not that I’m not lovable – it’s that they’re not capable,” she said on The Howard Stern Show. “They don’t have it in them. And they gave me what they had. They gave me all of it, every time. All the rings, all the things I could ever want. The houses, the rings, the marriage. All of it.”
Lopez said that she’s happy to stay single for the time being, even though she wants to find a lasting relationship in the future.

Lopez’s comments did not land well with Noa. The couple married in 1997 and divorced in 1998.
“Stop putting us down. Stop putting me down with your victim card,” he wrote on Instagram. “The problem is not us. Not me. The problem is you. You’re the one who couldn’t keep it in your pants.”
Noa said he was in love with Lopez, even quitting his job and moving for her. He blamed her for the end of their relationship.
“But you. You chose fame and fortune moving apart of our relationship,” he wrote. “You decided to lie, to cheat on me and even though I stayed. I even tried to keep the marriage going and alive. You begged me to keep the marriage intact to avoid bad press caring more about you.”
He accused her of lying and told her she should feel ashamed of herself.
“You wanted to continue cheating and lying. I couldn’t stay anymore and deal with the constantly lying,” he said. “That’s why I left you. That’s why I divorced you. Tell the truth for once. Let people know you are the problem. You should be embarrassed, ashamed of yourself.”

This is not the first time Noa has spoken out about Lopez since their divorce. Shortly after her marriage to Affleck, Noa said he doubted it would last.
“I wish her and Ben the best, but I’m not convinced it will last,” he told the Daily Mail in 2022. “Jen loves being in love but she’s been engaged six times. Ben is husband number four. I was husband number one and she told me I was the love of her life. When we lay in bed on our wedding night, she said we would be together forever.”
Noa said he doesn’t think Lopez would ever find a successful relationship.
“I think she’s someone who will be married seven or eight times,” he said. “I can’t see her ever settling down with one person. She pushes herself to constantly go forward in her professional life, which is why she’s had a three-decade career, but she also moves on in her private life.”
