After four failed marriages, a broken engagement, and a few high-profile relationships, sources claim that Jenny From the Block is setting her sights high and not just settling when it comes to the next person she dates.
Insiders told Star Magazine that Lopez is requiring a few things as she jumps back into the dating pool. One is that she won’t seek out a new beau herself and will hire a professional matchmaker to do that for her. As for the next eligible bachelor, well, he’ll need to earn some serious money because she wants someone who makes as much as her. Lopez has a net worth of $400 million and an annual salary of about $40 million.
“There are only a handful of matchmakers in the world that cater to the top one percent, so they’re very pricey,” the sources said. “We’re talking upwards of a million dollars, but J.Lo has been told by a number of people that it’s worth spending the money. She’s ready to sign up and get some help.
“She has very high expectations about who she wants to share her life with. They need to be super successful, handsome, and at the top of their game in every way. They don’t necessarily need to be worth more than she is, but she does want them to be in the same ballpark as she is when it comes to their net worth.”
But her next relationship likely won’t end in marriage. Lopez commented on that during a concert in July when a fan held up a sign that read, “J Lo, marry me?” to which she responded, “I think I’m done with that. I’ve tried that a few times.”
