Jeremiah and Hannh Duggar Welcome Baby #3, Break Their Naming Theme
Jeremiah Duggar and his wife, Hannah Wissmann, have grown their family once more. The duo took to Instagram to announce the birth of their third child, another daughter. While the Duggar couple appeared to have a naming theme after their first two kids, they broke the trend with baby #3.

Jeremiah Duggar and Hannah Wissmann have a lot to be happy about this spring. The couple has a brand new baby. The duo announced the birth of their third daughter, Emery Jane Duggar, via Instagram. The couple shared the big news on May 18, but noted their new addition arrived on May 13. They plan to call her ‘Emy’ based on their update.
Jeremiah and Hannah opted not to share additional details about the baby’s arrival. They did not include her birth time, her weight at birth, or where she was born. That’s not all that uncommon for the couple, though. While Jeremiah and Hannah have public social media accounts, they are a bit more guarded about what they share than others in the family.

While Duggar family followers expected a spring arrival of the couple’s third daughter, the name they chose was a bit of a surprise. Before announcing the name, Duggar family followers assumed the couple would choose another “B” name. Their first two children have names that begin with B.
The duo, who married in March 2022, welcomed their first child, daughter Brynley Noelle, on December 25, 2022. Brynley was born almost exactly 9 months after the couple’s wedding date. Their second daughter, Brielle Grace, was born in February 2024. When they announced that they were expecting their third child less than a year after Brielle’s birth, it seemed likely that a third “B” name would be used. They have changed the rules.
While the Duggar family is expecting a bit of a baby boom in 2025, the arrival of Emery Duggar leaves just one more (known) pregnancy for the year. Jessa Seewald is currently expecting her sixth child. A summer arrival is expected. Jessa Vuolo welcomed her son, Finnegan Vuolo, in late March, while Jedidiah Duggar and Katey Nakatsu brought home twins in January.
