Jessica Alba’s Friends Worry Her New Romance Will Take Her ‘to the Cleaners’ Without an ‘Iron-Clad Prenup’
After ending her marriage to Cash Warren in early 2025, Jessica Alba jumped into a new romance with actor Danny Ramirez. The pair were first linked in July and have since made their relationship both Instagram and red carpet official. Sources say that Alba is head-over-heels, to the point where her friends are warning her not to take any big steps without a prenup.

In July, Alba and Ramirez vacationed together in Cancún, Mexico. They had reportedly been friends for a time before their relationship turned romantic. At that point, sources said Alba wasn’t looking for anything serious.
“She is having a lot of fun in this new era,” a source told Us Weekly. “It’s not serious, but she is enjoying time with him.”
Things appear to have grown more serious between them. This January, the couple took a trip to Cabo San Lucas. Onlookers say they “were super touchy-feely with each other.”
“They were all about each other and definitely in love,” the onlooker said.

Alba is reportedly so happy in her new relationship that she is considering marrying the Top Gun: Maverick star.
“It’s no surprise Jessica is rebuilding her life around Danny,” a source told Radar Online. “He treats her like royalty and she loves every second of it.”
Her friends are reportedly happy about her, though they worry that she’s rushing into things. Alba is still finalizing her divorce from Warren, and friends don’t want to see her jump into a new marriage without taking her $100 million fortune into account. Alba’s Honest Company has brought her a significant amount of wealth.
“Everyone’s happy for her, but it feels way too soon for her to be considering marriage,” a source said. “They’re convinced she needs an iron-clad prenup. The last thing she needs is to be taken to the cleaners by this guy sometime down the line.”
The source added that “things can turn on a dime in Hollywood, especially, as Jessica herself knows. She needs to protect the empire she’s built.”

Alba filed for divorce from her first husband, Warren, in February 2025, citing irreconcilable differences.
“I’ve been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years-both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,” she wrote in a statement on Instagram. “I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”
The couple has not yet finalized their divorce. As they move forward, they say that their priority is their children.
“We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family,” the statement continued. “Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.”
