On the Quibi show Cup of Joe, Jonas bought his then-wife, Turner, a cameo of Coldplay singer Martin. In the video, Jonas tells Turner that he had a birthday message from a friend who “wants to say happy birthday.” A shocked and delighted Turner grabbed the phone when she realized Jonas was showing her a video of Martin.
“This is Chris from Coldplay,” Martin said, per Page Six. “I wanted to say on behalf of me and the even more handsome members of our band.”
Turner responded to this by shaking her head and saying, “No,” clearly implying that she found Martin the most attractive person in the band.
“I hope you are having the best day,” he continued. “I send you all my love and I hope you’re having a great time. Thanks for being awesome. Bye.”
He blew a kiss to the camera before ending the clip. After the video ended, Turner gave the phone back to Jonas and said she wasn’t going to “cry on camera.”
