It looks like Jim Bob Duggar is not the least bit interested in dealing with yet another wayward son’s legal drama. While Jim Bob was heavily involved in Josh Duggar’s trial and conviction, he is taking a far more hands-off approach when it comes to Joseph Duggar’s arrest. Jailhouse call logs indicate that Joseph has not attempted to contact his parents since his March 18 arrest. Instead, he’s placed dozens of calls to his wife, Kendra Caldwell. They haven’t shown up at the detention center, either.

Joseph Duggar has spent his time in an Arkansas detention center completely alone. The 31-year-old suspected sexual predator revealed to his wife, Kendra Caldwell, that he was being kept separate from the general population while he awaited extradition to Florida. He revealed that he spent 23 hours a day alone in his cell.

The only person in his family that he has had a chance to talk to, apparently, is Kendra. Several media outlets have obtained Joseph’s call logs from his time at a Washington County detention center, and they show calls to just two people. He was regularly calling Kendra Caldwell, his wife of eight years, with a dozen calls during the first 9 days of his incarceration. He also placed a call to a management consultant. The contents of that call are not known. Joseph has not placed a single phone call to his mother, father, or any of his 17 reachable siblings.

Joseph has only had a single visitor while being held in Arkansas

While Joseph Duggar appears to be on the move to a Florida holding cell now, his time there probably won’t look all that much different from the week he spent locked up in Arkansas. People has reported that Joseph, who was picked up by Tontitown police on March 18, only had one visitor in the 9 days he spent in a local detention center.

According to the outlet, Joseph was only visited by his lawyer during his stay. It is unclear exactly who will represent him and how many times he met with legal counsel while in custody in Arkansas. His elder brother, Josh Duggar, was represented by Justin Gelfand during his federal trial, though he has since retained Beau Brindley to fight his conviction. While Michelle Duggar was spotted at the county jail on March 20, it had nothing to do with Joseph. Instead, she was springing Kendra Caldwell from the facility.

Joseph is believed to be in transit to Panama City, Florida, as of March 27. This is a developing story.
