Josh Jacobs’ last tie to Las Vegas, Nevada, has been severed. The Green Bay Packers’ star running back has officially sold the home he had built back when he believed he’d be a Las Vegas Raider for years to come. The sale comes as the Packers make a run at the Super Bowl while the Raiders finish another losing season. The sale is surely bittersweet, though. Not only did Jacobs have to slash the price significantly to sell the custom-designed property, but he never even got to spend a night in it.

Josh Jacobs never slept a single night in his Las Vegas home

Josh Jacobs was ready and willing to put down roots in Las Vegas. After being drafted by the recently relocated team, Jacobs set out to find a home. Instead of renting a pad or buying an existing home, Jacobs bought into a planned community. A construction team was ready to custom-build a home to his specifications. They built the house, but delays and a change in assignments changed everything for Jacobs.

While Jacobs picked out everything that would eventually go into the home, he wasn’t meant to live in it. In a surprise move, the Las Vegas Raiders and Josh Jacobs parted ways. He packed up and moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin, leaving his Vegas property behind. During an appearance on Bussin’ with the Boys, Jacobs revealed that he only ever set foot inside his Vegas home once before his move. He said the property wasn’t even done when he saw it.

Jacobs’ strong feelings about selling the home might stem from his upbringing. The star running back moved around a lot, collecting a dozen addresses before landing in Alabama for college. He clearly thought Las Vegas would be his home. Now, though, as he seems to have found his rhythm in Wisconsin, things are looking up.

He has officially sold the property

While Josh Jacobs remains a bit bitter about the end of his time in Las Vegas, he can at least close the door on that chapter of his life in the new year. According to the Las Vegas Journal Review, Josh Jacobs sold his custom Las Vegas property on December 31, 2025, for $4.7 million. The new owner, who has not been identified, is getting a pretty sweet deal, too. Jacobs sold the home for substantially less than he originally wanted.

The star running back originally listed the home for sale back in 2024 for around $6 million. There were no takers on the home, despite the custom property offering 5,500 square feet of living space and plenty of amenities. The home is part of a high-end subdivision and just minutes from Las Vegas’ action-packed strip.
