Jenelle Evans might not be a reality TV star anymore, but she’s certainly been taking her drama to social media to keep fans and foes apprised of the goings-on in her life. While Evans has been a bit busy expertly avoiding questions bout her romantic reconnection, she’s got time to talk about plenty of other topics. She recently threw shade at Kailyn Lowry, claiming Lowry needs her to stay relevant. Lowry, who left Teen Mom 2 of her own accord in 2022, offered up the most peaceful, early morning clapback we’ve ever heard.

Jenelle Evans starts drama with Kailyn Lowry again

Jenelle Evans is at it again. While the former Teen Mom 2 star has insisted she is very busy raising two of her three children, exploring career opportunities, and launching a podcast, she still has time for drama. She recently took to Instagram to talk about her former co-star Kailyn Lowry.

That drama is nothing new. The two former co-stars have thrown shade at each other for years. Though things were mostly quiet in 2025, they kicked off 2026 with a bit of back-and-forth on Instagram and TikTok in January. Lowry dropped things, it seemed, but Evans returned to pick the drama back up. In late February, she took to Instagram to make a pretty wild accusation. She claims that Kailyn has to use her name on social media to garner views and clout.

Kailyn Lowry is no stranger to drama either. While her chaotic online life and clapbacks usually focus on one of several former partners, she does make an exception for Jenelle Evans. Lowry and Evans have been feuding for years. In the past, Lowry took a more active role in the beef, but recently, she’s been letting Evans steer the feud.

That hasn’t stopped her from clapping back when she sees fit. On March 1, Lowry took to TikTok to respond to Evans, who claimed Lowry needs her for clout. She, still in bed, joked that she’s doing just fine on her own. Lowry went on to address Evans directly, revealing she doesn’t actually think about her unless she’s tagged in her drama. She did say she wished her best, after noting that she doesn’t “give a f**k” about Evans. Lowry, who runs a successful podcasting network, noted she was only aware of the drama as she was tagged in it.

It’s a bit unclear why Evans is taking aim at Lowry this time around. Still, critics theorize that she’s trying to distract the world from changes in her love life. It seems pretty obvious, based on her own online activity and the Twitter activity of David Eason’s scorned ex, that she is back together with her ex-husband. Time will only tell how she’ll try to spin their renewed love story.
