Kailyn Lowry Makes Her Egg Stand Free For the Duration of the Year
Kailyn Lowry has a fair number of haters, but even her most ardent critics are giving the former Teen Mom 2 star praise at the moment. Lowry operates several small businesses, and while her podcast network is her best-known and most profitable business venture, she also owns an egg stand. Lowry recently took to social media to announce that she had her community’s back as residents struggle to afford food. All of her eggs will be free through the end of the year. Lowry also claims she’s considering stocking other food items that will also be free, but she has encountered a snag.
Did you know Kailyn Lowry has an egg stand?
Kailyn Lowry introduced her egg stand several months ago on both Instagram and TikTok, sharing footage of her family collecting eggs from the chickens they own. She also shared content with her eldest child, Elliot Rivera, cooking with the eggs from the chickens the family has raised. While she spends her time promoting her podcasts more than anything, the egg stand has been quietly providing eggs to residents of her town in Delaware.
Lowry, along with her children, has a small farming property. That is where the family raises chickens, cares for goats, and tends to a pretty expansive vegetable garden. Lowry has opened up about the farm several times in recent history, insisting the property is her zen space. She has revealed that tending to her garden and animals allows her to escape the demands of life in front of the microphone.
She’s giving away eggs for the rest of the year
The farm isn’t just a fun side project for Lowry anymore. For several months, she has been selling her overabundance of eggs at a small farm stand near her property. Since its inception, the egg stand has run on the honor system, with shoppers leaving cash for the eggs they take from the unmanned stand. They won’t need to worry about having cash to leave at the stand for the next few months, though.
Just days ago, Kailyn Lowry took to social media to announce that her egg stand would cease taking payments for products for the rest of he year. She announced that she’ll be stocking the egg stand for free until the new year, and was looking into ways to provide additional products at no cost.
Lowry’s act of kindness comes at a time when her community could use a bit of help. Lowry, however, may have underestimated the need. Just one day after announcing her eggs would be free going forward, she returned to social media to reveal that someone came by and grabbed eight dozen eggs, which she said was ‘not ideal.” She told her followers that she was restocking as quickly as possible. Lowry didn’t mention if she plans to implement some type of limit.
