Which Kardashian-Jenner Sister Has Dated the Most Athletes?
Kendall Jenner has been making headlines thanks to a new commercial where she’s poking fun at herself and her family’s so-called “curse.” At one time, the curse was referred to as just the “Kardashian curse,” but once Kendall started dating some star athletes as well, it became known as the “Kardashian-Jenner curse.” The term is used in connection with the bad luck or hard times many of the men who get close to the siblings end up experiencing.
Kendall’s one-minute and 25-second ad is for Fanatics Sportsbook and in it, she references some of her ex-boyfriends who play or have played in the NBA as examples of those who have fallen victim to the curse. At the end of the ad, the model says she’s ready for an NFL beau now.
The commercial has some thinking back to just how many professional athletes the sisters have dated and questioning who has dated the most.
It’s not all the Kardashian-Jenner siblings who seem to have a thing for athletes. Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have not publicly dated any sports stars. But the same can’t be said for Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Kendall.
Kim was in a relationship with former running back Reggie Bush on and off from 2007 to 2010. After they split, she was linked to soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo before she started seeing ex-Dallas Cowboys receiver Miles Austin. Then in 2011, Kim wed former NBA player Kris Humphries. They divorced in 2013.
Khloé and former Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard Rashad McCants were once an item. They called it quits in 2009 after a few months together when she claimed he cheated on her. McCants later said that they made the whole thing up for TV.
Khloé then dated Lamar Odom and after about four weeks together, they got hitched. Their marriage ended up going south and the Good American founder filed for divorce in 2013. That was withdrawn though so Khloé could make medical decisions on Odom’s behalf after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and hospitalized. Their divorce was eventually finalized in 2016.
Khloé then hooked up with another NBA player, James Harden. But they ended things in 2016. Following their split, Khloe got began seeing her fourth basketball player, Cleveland Cavaliers star Tristan Thompson. They were in an on-and-off relationship for about five years and have two children. The podcast host also reportedly had a brief fling with former football player Derrick Ward.
As for Kendall, she’s tied with Khloé for the number of athletes she’s been involved with, and for the 818 Tequila founder, it’s been all NBA players. The first NBA star she was linked to was Chandler Parsons back in 2014. The supermodel and small forward were spotted a few years later hitting up the same hot spots together and Kendall was even seen sitting courtside at one of his games. But their romance eventually fizzled.
In 2016, Jenner was rumored to be involved with Jordan Clarkson, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers at the time, after a video of them kissing at a party surfaced online. Within a year though, it was over.
In 2017, Jenner started seeing then- LA Clippers power forward Blake Griffin. But in April 2018, they were no longer a thing. Jenner went from a relationship with Griffin to one with Ben Simmons. Things between them really heated up in the summer of 2018 when they reportedly shacked up together, but they were over by early 2020. She then began dating Phoenix Suns player Devin Booker on and off for a few years.
As for the Kardashian-Jenner curse, it needs to be noted that Odom did win an NBA championship while he was with Khloé, and Kim was Reggie Bush’s girlfriend when he won a Super Bowl with the New Orleans Saints. And while Kendall exes haven’t hoisted the Larry O’Brien trophy, Booker has won a couple of Olympic gold medals for the U.S.
