Kathy Hilton and Sutton Stracke Robbed While at BravoCon
Kathy Hilton and Sutton Stracke returned to their Beverly Hills homes to a big problem earlier this week. While the ladies were out and about, promoting The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at BravoCon in Las Vegas, their homes were being ransacked by thieves. Both women were the victims of burglars during their highly publicized trip to Sin City. While the thieves are still on the loose, Mauricio Umansy has a message for anyone who considers robbing him, as they did his co-stars.
Sutton Stracke and Kathy Hilton’s homes were burglarized
Sutton Stracke was the victim of a burglary while she was away in Las Vegas with Bravo. Around 2 pm on November 15, a dog walker alerted police to a break-in at the Bel-Air property. According to Page Six, Stracke’s dog walker arrived at the property to take care of the pets when they realized a window had been broken. It is unclear when exactly the window was broken. Police took a burglary report, though it’s unclear if anything was taken during the incident.
Kathy Hilton’s home was burglarized much later in the evening. According to People, intruders were seen inside the home after 11 pm on November 15. A 911 call was placed by Rick Hilton, who was home at the time of the incident, shortly before midnight. He told a 911 dispatcher that he saw three people inside the house. Police responded quickly, but the would-be burglars had fled the scene before they arrived. There is no information on whether anything was taken.
Mauricio Umansky suggests no one try to break into his home
Mauricio Umansky heard about the burglaries, and he has a few words for any thieves who are eying his property. TMZ caught up with the real estate mogul as he left dinner this week, and asked him about the burglaries at his co-stars’ homes. Umansky said he feels like it is a growing problem and that the city needs to work harder to provide a safe environment. In the meantime, he wants criminals to know he’s not messing around and will go after anyone who tries to rob him.
Umansky and his then-wife, Kyle Richards, were victims of a home invasion back in 2017. They were vacationing in Aspen when their Encino home was broken into. Over $1 million in jewelry was reportedly taken in the heist. Umansky lost over $100,000 in watches, according to several reports. The 2017 ordeal is the reason he was quick to empathize with the Hiltons and Stracke, though he admitted he hadn’t spoken to them in the immediate aftermath.
