Katy Perry’s Lookalike Quits Her Job After Making $20 Million
They say all things come to an end, and Camilla Araujo had just announced it’s the “end of an era” for her. The woman who’s been dubbed Katy Perry‘s look-alike has decided to leave the job that has earned her $20 million.
Araujo, who co-founded Bop House and is one of OnlyFans’ top-earning creators, shared the news via Instagram on Dec. 22.
In the video, Araujo stressed that she’s not quitting social media or disappearing from the internet entirely, but rather stepping away from the OnlyFans platform to start a new project.
She shared that “I’m quitting OnlyFans. Yeah, I’m quitting. This is it. No, I’m not quitting content … Let’s get one thing straight. I don’t regret it, and some of my best friends still do it. I still support my girls.
“That platform is where I made my first million dollars. It’s where I retired my parents. It’s where I bought my first home. I was able to help hundreds of people through it. I’m so incredibly grateful for how far that platform has taken me.”
Araujo added that she has something in the works and is looking forward to her next chapter.
“I’m moving on to something that I actually feel is my purpose, and it’s going to actually fulfill my soul,” Perry’s doppleganger said.
Araujo first gained public attention in 2021 after starring as Player 067 in MrBeast’s Squid Game recreation video. The recognition led to a massive surge in her popularity. Today, she has more than 5 million followers on Instagram and over 9 million on TikTok. Her tiered subscriptions and exclusive content on OnlyFans reportedly earned her over $2 million a month at times.
