Nicole has been largely quiet about Kelce moving on with Swift, but her feelings are pretty apparent in the few comments she’s made. Kelce isn’t her only ex, though. Kayla Nicole revealed the moment she considers her pettiest act of revenge towards an ex-boyfriend. While it has nothing to do with Travis Kelce, fans are sure another sports star and singer are involved, though.

Kayla Nicole might not want to talk about her past relationships, but they unquestionably come up. Last year, Nicole appeared on Unapologetically Angel, and she was happy to tell a story or two. When host Angel Reese asked her about her pettiest act of revenge, Nicole recalled dressing as her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend for Halloween.
Nicole said that her ex, whom she did not name, dumped her via text and very quickly took up with another woman. She said the other woman was a famous singer/actor at the time. She said when Halloween rolled around, she dressed as that singer, presumably hoping her ex would see it. Photos were posted to social media, though Nicole has since deleted them. Nicole didn’t mention if the petty move had any desired effect. Still, it has everyone talking now, and it didn’t take long for fans to dig into the clues.
Who was Kayla Nicole talking about?
While Kayla Nicole has never revealed who the man and the other woman in question are, fans have filled in the blanks in the months since she made the admission. Most people assume she was referencing Teyana Taylor. The connection is easy to make. Nicole dated Iman Shumpert after arriving in New York City. He publicly linked up with Teyana Taylor and eventually married her shortly after. The overlap in relationships and Nicole’s admission that she moved to be with the man in question make the entire situation pretty obvious. There are also photos of Nicole dressed as Taylor if you scour the internet enough.
Taylor has even commented on the situation, posting a now-deleted comment on a post by The Shade Room. According to Page Six, Taylor took issue with Nicole claiming she “used to be famous.” Taylor said Nicole knew people would dig for info and that it was easily searchable. She called the entire situation “distasteful” and noted that the amount of detail was unnecessary and still extremely petty, even though the relationship was years ago.
Taylor is no longer with Shumpert. They married in 2016 after dating for two years. Shumpert and Taylor separated in 2023 and filed for divorce in 2024. Nicole dated Shumpert sometime before that, but she’s made varying comments about the seriousness of the romance.
