Keith Urban Is ‘Trying to Put on a Brave Front’ After ‘Snub’ From Daughter
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s daughter recently cited her mom as one of her biggest inspirations. In an interview, Sunday Rose Urban spoke about what she has learned from her mother. The model did not mention her father at all, though. Urban reportedly feels stung by this amid his divorce from Kidman.

Sunday is a rising figure in the modeling world. She said she takes a great deal of her creative inspiration from her mother.
“My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life,” she told Elle Australia. “She’s a key part of everything I do.”
She added that her mother has given her valuable advice on how to navigate the industry. Kidman has been an actor for decades.
“The biggest piece of industry advice Mum has given to me is to always be on time,” she said. “There’s always going to be something with an early call time that you don’t want to get up for, but it’s really important to be on time because it shows that you’re prepared and grateful to be there.”
She added that her mother has also taught her how to travel well, which has added a great deal of “fun” to her life.

In her interview, Sunday did not mention her relationship with Urban. While she didn’t say anything bad about him, the exclusion has reportedly wounded him. He and Kidman recently divorced.
“Keith doesn’t know what to say, but he’s trying to put on a brave front,” a source told the Daily Mail.
They added that he feels “numb.”
“He knows he has to be patient; however, this latest snub – so publicly, there in black and white – has stumped him,” the source said.
Per Kidman and Urban’s custody agreement, their daughters will spend 306 days with Kidman and the remaining 59 with Urban.

To the shock of fans, Urban and Kidman announced the end of their marriage in 2025. They wed in 2006. Urban reportedly blindsided his former wife when he asked for a divorce. She recently said that as she moves forward, she is leaning on her family.
“I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good. What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect,” she told Variety. “I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”
While it’s not clear where the former couple stands with each other today, they moved quickly through divorce proceedings. They finalized their divorce and custody plan just three months after news of their separation broke.
