Jenelle Evans just spent the last four days in a hospital in Las Vegas, but her ex-husband and his new love were hard at work on “the land” back in North Carolina. Over the weekend, David Eason and Kenleigh Heatwole addressed some property issues at Eason’s former ill-fated homestead. Heatwole took the opportunity to troll the currently convalescing former Teen Mom 2 star. While Heatwoly typically attacks Evans’ current spicy career path, this time she took aim at a failed business venture. As is typical, Evans was quick to respond, sharing Heatwole’s update to her own social media pages. The latest lady in David Eason’s life would not be deterred, though. She’s back to chat more about Evans’ expired makeup palettes.

Kenleigh Heatwole pokes fun at Jenelle Evans’ failed makeup business

Kenleigh Heatwole looks like she was doing some work on David Eason’s portion of “the land” over the weekend, but she took some time out of her schedule to poke fun at her boyfriend’s ex-wife. In a scathing Instagram Story post, Heatwole took a photo of herself in front of a massive box. She asked if anyone wanted a free eyebrow palette, referencing Jenelle Evans’ failed makeup venture. She returned for a second round, joking that if you bought one palette for $0, you’d get a case for free.

Evans was quick to share the posts to her own social media, pointing out that Heatwole’s attack was unprovoked. Evans and Heatwole traded barbs last week on X, but Heatwole grew angry when she claimed she was being “attacked” by users for receiving an inheritance. Heatwole had taken to the platform to demean Evans’ work on OnlyFans. It’s unclear what prompted the Twitter war or if she realizes her current partner tried his hand at the platform, too.

Heatwole’s burn resonated with Teen Mom 2 fans who have spent years watching Evans’ social media feed with disdain. Many remember the absolute disaster that her eyebrow kit launch was, and how the mother of three failed to take any responsibility for quality control issues. According to Monsters and Critics, over 3,000 kits were produced, but only around 150 of them were sold. Of the 150 that were purchased, buyers reported finding fibers in the eyebrow wax. They also expressed concerns about potential mold contamination. In September 2019, the contracted manufacturer, XJ Beauty, ended its partnership with Evans. They cited a misalignment with Evans’s public conduct and poor product reception as the reason behind their decision. Unsold inventory was sent to Evans and presumably packed away on the land.

A judge awarded David Eason a parcel of land from his marital home

It seems like David Eason and Kenleigh Heatwole happened upon the unsold makeup kits while assessing the land Eason was awarded in his divorce from Evans. While Evans and Eason separated in February 2024, their divorce was just finalized in August 2025. Ahead of a judge finally ending their disastrous union, they split up their assets. Evans received most of their North Carolina land, including the house they once shared. Eason was awarded a parcel of the property that contained outbuildings. It appears Heatwole might have stumbled upon the unused inventory in one of the structures on Eason’s portion of land.

It is unclear what Evans and Eason plan to do with their individual plots of land. While the property is considered largely undesirable by Teen Mom 2 fans, Evans claims she toyed with the idea of selling the home. She recently said she hasn’t parted with the property yet because her two youngest children don’t want her to. Still, she insists she doesn’t plan to live in it again. It remains unclear who has been maintaining the property while she’s in Las Vegas. Eason, who is currently residing in his girlfriend’s home, hasn’t mentioned what he plans to do with his land, either.
