Kid Cudi and fashion designer Lola Abecassis Sartore said “I do” on June 28, 2025, in a intimate ceremony at Cap Estel in Èze. The luxury location is close to Lola’s childhood home in the South of France. The couple expertly planned their day to incorporate elements from their first meeting, including a tribute to Virgil Abloh, the designer who brought them together. Abloh died in 2021.

According to Vogue, Lola wore a custom lace gown handcrafted in Paris by her friend and designer Alain Paul. Close family and friends attended the peaceful ceremony and reception. They capped off the weekend with an afterparty. Cudi changed twice during the evening. The “Day ‘n’ Nite” singer took to Instagram to celebrate his big day with a massive photo drop. He promised more is to come, thanking fans for their well wishes. He noted that he found his “person” before signing off.

How did the couple meet?

Kid Cudi and Lola Abecassis Sartore first crossed paths in 2018 at a runway show. Lola was working backstage for Louis Vuitton while Cudi was walking the runway. As they remember it, they locked eyes amidst the runway chaos and instantly connected. Lola recalled to Vogue that, “there was a silent spark.” She said that after the show, Cudi approached her and asked for her number.

The duo began dating in private and managed to keep their romance quiet for several years. In fact, no one knew the duo were together until Cudi announced their engagement in April 2024. He proposed on December 28, 2023. Before falling for Lola, Cudi was in a brief romance with Cassie Ventura. That romance led to his feud with Diddy and ultimately led to his testimony against the music mogul.
