Kim Kardashian and Kanye “Ye” West were married for eight years and share four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Since their divorce, things haven’t been easy. West’s bizarre and sometimes alarming behavior has played out in public, and his ex-wife has been the target of some of his odd antics and outrageous comments.

All of that has been a lot for Kim to deal with, and she recently shared that she had been diagnosed with a small brain aneurysm. The SKIMS founder opened up about how doctors told her the cause was “stress.” She attributed that stress to things that have gone on with West.

In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim made a comment about what’s led her to feeling like she just wants to “snap” sometimes.

Kim confesses that she feels like ‘snapping’

On the Nov. 27 episode of The Kardashians, Kim had an appointment for a brain scan. Scott Disick went with her and they began talking about West.

“It is hard,” Kim admitted to Disick.

Then, during a confessional, when producers noted that West is “very loud out there right now,” Kim replied, “I just can’t really engage. I think it’s just for the better.”

She filled Disick in with some other details about what’s been going on with her ex.

“I mean, I always encourage a relationship, but a healthy one,” Kim said, before revealing it’s “frustrating that my character as a mom” comes into question because of his erratic behavior. “Sometimes I just feel like snapping, but I can’t. I just can’t.”

In the confessional, Kim added, “My only focus and job is really just to be strong for my kids.”

Kim has said West doesn’t see their kids

This isn’t the first time Kim has spoken candidly about her relationship with West and his relationship with their children.

She addressed all of that on the Season 7 premiere of The Kardashians and while she was a guest on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast on Oct. 15, saying, “I raise the kids full time.”

The reality star then explained that she told West their failed marriage is what it is, but he can always see their children when he wants.

“It’s not a kidnapping, it’s a divorce,” Kim said, before adding, “Every time he has asked, I will always let them see their father. That’s just who I am. If there’s a time where it’s really super unhealthy, then I will, you know, say ‘Hey, let’s do it here at my house, or let’s figure out a different time.”

Kim also claimed then that their strained relationship and some of West’s erratic behavior caused her to have “a bit of Stockholm syndrome.”

“I always felt really bad and always protected and always wanted to help. This was the first time I didn’t feel that responsibility personally,” she shared. “[People think] I should have stuck it out and I could have helped. As much as people think that I have the luxury of walking away and not dealing ever again, that’s not my reality … we have four kids together.”
