Kim Kardashian’s Is Full of Sarcasm as Glenn Close Opts for ‘Fatal Attraction’ Response to Critics Slamming ‘All’s Fair’
Hulu recently released the legal drama All’s Fair, and critics have not been kind. The show, which stars Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Teyana Taylor, Naomi Watts, and Niecy Nash-Betts, centers on an all-female law firm helmed by divorce attorneys.
It’s been slammed as “fascinatingly, incomprehensibly, and existentially terrible” with “thin” characters and “flimsy” storylines. One publication labeled it the “worst TV show of the year,” while another went as far as to call it the “worst TV drama ever.” It currently holds a 6% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Kardashian, who finished a law program in May and hopes to become an attorney one day, was panned for her portrayal of a lawyer. So the SKIMS founder decided to hit back with a little sarcasm. The reality star took to Instagram, writing, “Have you tuned in to the most critically acclaimed show of the year!?!?!? All’s Fair streaming now on Hulu and Disneyplus.”
Close fired back at critics as well with a little “Fatal Attraction” by posting a hand-drawn image of her and her co-stars surrounding a pot labeled “critic bunny stew.” Anyone who has seen the actress’s 1987 Oscar-nominated film gets the reference.
Close’s castmates loved the post as Taylor commented with several heart eyes and kissing emojis, while Watts replied with laughing-till-crying emojis. Hulu even got in on the action, writing, “Iconic” with clapping hands.
The harsh criticism is having the opposite effect on the show as several viewers say that after seeing the reviews, they decided to watch it and are loving it.
And many fans pointed out that All’s Fair has debuted at No. 1 on Hulu, despite the terrible reviews from critics.
