Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s life in the royal spotlight was over when King Charles stripped his brother of his titles and told him to vacate the massive home he shared with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.

The disgraced royal’s fate was sealed in one statement put out by Buckingham Palace that read, “His Majesty has initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor … [Andrew’s] lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”

But now, it’s believed that Andrew has found a way to keep in the know and up on everything with the royals, even though he’s been banned from appearing at events with them. And some are disgusted, claiming that he is using his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, to do just that.

Andrew’s daughters accepted King Charles’ invitation to attend gathering

Both Eugenie and Beatrice, along with their husbands, joined the rest of their family at Sandringham for the Christmas holiday and were seen walking to church with King Charles, Queen Camilla, and several working royals.

A family friend told Express, “They [sisters] live and die by the monarchy. This didn’t surprise me at all. And Andrew and Sarah would have 1000 % supported it.”

Speaking to People, royal biographer Robert Jobson opined, “They did the right thing — showing loyalty to King Charles and to the Crown. It’s easy to say this is a snub, but they would say, ‘I’m a royal princess, I’m in line to the throne, I have been invited to attend the king’s Christmas celebrations, and you don’t turn down the king’s invitation.”

Andrew is using this tactic to ‘keep in’ with the other royals

But a couple of other experts believe the princesses’ attendance was at their father’s insistence and that Andrew told them to accept the invite so he could use his daughters as “royal spies” for him.

On The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, biographer, Ingrid Seward, said: “I was fascinated by Beatrice and Eugenie going to Sandringham because we were led to believe that both of them were going to stay away from Royal Lodge, they were going to stay away from Sandringham to avoid being seen like they’re taking sides. But I don’t think Beatrice and Eugenie had a choice. Andrew said to them, ‘You have to go,’ because he wants to keep a foot in. A, he wants to know what’s going on. B, he’d want to know what people were saying about him.”

Seward added, “They [Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie] are Andrew’s only passport into the royal family now. And I’m absolutely sure that he persuaded them.”

Royal commentator Charlie Ray agreed and is convinced that “One of the first things that would have happened when they got back would be Andrew would be on the phone saying, ‘Who said what?'”
