Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion’s romance appears to be getting more serious. The couple recently spent Thanksgiving with his family, and Thompson renamed his boat after his girlfriend. Thompson and Megan made their relationship public in the summer of 2025. The couple posted Instagram photos that hinted they were together. Not long after, they hard-launched their romance at Megan’s Inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City. The rapper started the foundation to serve women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities in Houston. She named it in honor of her late parents, Joseph Pete III and Holly Thomas. 

“I feel like they can see what I’m doing right now,” she told People. “I feel like they’re looking down on me from heaven, and I feel like they’re like, ‘Yes, daughter!’ I feel like my momma’s so happy.”

Thompson attended the gala as Megan’s date. While she didn’t go into much detail about their relationship, she said they had a movie-worthy meet-cute.

“Oh, we met, and it was such a meet cute it was like a f—ing movie,” she said. “I won’t tell you how and I won’t tell you when, but it was a movie.”

She added that her favorite thing about Thompson is that “he’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in my life.”

Before his romance with Megan, Thompson dated other public figures. In 2014, he began a relationship with Hannah Stocking, a social media influencer. They dated until 2015. In since-deleted tweets, Stocking accused Thompson of cheating on her.

That same year, Thompson dated college basketball player Tiffany Suarez and influencer Carleen Henry. 

Thompson began a more serious and public relationship with Spider-Man: Homecoming actor Laura Harrier in 2018. The pair frequently stepped out together before ending things in 2020.

Thompson was briefly linked to actor Eiza Gonzalez before beginning a relationship with actor and singer Coco Jones in 2021. They were together until 2023. Since then, Thompson has kept a low profile regarding his romantic relationships.

While Thompson and Megan have been together for less than a year, things are heating up between them. He recently renamed a boat he purchased in 2020, the SS Stallion, after his girlfriend. Megan also spent Thanksgiving with his family this year.

In a video posted to her Instagram account, Megan cooked the holiday meal for the Thompson family.

“I was really nervous, ‘cause I was like, ‘Dang, I’m really finna cook for my man and his whole family,’” she said, per People. “I hope they love this because I got to show them that I really love their son!”

She said Thompson’s father gave the meal a “10 out of 10” after trying it.
