From Kris Jenner to Priscilla Presley to His Cousin, Here Are Some of the Women Robert Kardashian Sr. Dated and Married
Robert Kardashian Sr.’s love life has now been thrust into the spotlight after Elvis Presley‘s ex-wife, Priscilla Presley, discussed their relationship in her new book.
Here’s what Priscilla revealed about the late patriarch of the famous reality TV family. Plus, who else Kardashian was romantically involved with, including Kris Jenner and one of his cousins. Yes, you read that correctly.
Kardashian dated Priscilla after she divorced Elvis
In her memoir titled Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis, Priscilla wrote about Kardashian and when they were together in the mid-1970s, following her divorce from The King. Priscilla recalled answering a call from her ex-husband in the middle of the night while Kardashian was sleeping right next to her.
Elvis would “have gone ballistic, maybe literally, if he’d known Robert was in my bedroom,” she wrote (per USA TODAY). “Elvis always carried a loaded gun, sometimes more than one … it had certainly never occurred to him that I might be with another man.”
She explained that Elvis talked to her about a concert he had that evening before they ended their call and she slid back in bed next to Kardashian, writing: “He never knew Elvis had called. And Elvis never knew about Robert.”
Although Priscilla and Kardashian’s relationship didn’t last, she said they remained friends over the years.
“Robert and I had one last conversation before he died,” she shared. “He was the kindest of men, and I remember him with great affection.”
When Kardashian married Kris Jenner
Kardashian’s first wife was none other than Kris Jenner (then-Kris Houghton).
They dated for four years before walking down the aisle in July 1978. However, things ended shortly after Jenner had an affair with soccer player-turned-animator Todd Waterman.
During a 2023 episode of The Kardashians, Jenner admitted that cheating on her first husband is her “biggest regret” in life. She added, “Being really young and dumb is something that plays into it because you don’t really understand the consequences of your actions.”
Kardashian and Jenner had four children: Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Robert Kardashian Jr. They divorced in 1991.
Kardashian got engaged to his cousin and was married two more times before his death
After Jenner, Kardashian had one broken engagement and ended up walking down the aisle two more times.
Following his separation from Jenner in 1991, Kardashian became engaged to Denice Shakarian Halicki, who was his third cousin. She’s also the widow of movie producer H.B. Halicki. He was killed in an accident while filming the movie Gone in 60 Seconds 2 in 1989. Denice then vowed to produce a remake of Gone in 60 Seconds. She did that in 2000 with her film starring Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie.
Kardashian and Denice never did make it down the aisle and ended up splitting.
He moved on with Jan Ashley in 1998. She previously claimed that before his death, Kardashian told her that Khloé is not his daughter. Their marriage was annulled one year after saying “I do.”
Finally, Kardashian married his third wife, Ellen Pierson. They wed six weeks before his death.
