Kris Jenner Reportedly Thinks Kanye West’s Apology Is ‘Too Little, Too Late’
The full-page apology Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, recently issued reportedly has reportedly not impressed Kris Jenner. In January, he apologized for his anti-semitic outbursts. People responded to the apology with skepticism. Jenner, his former mother-in-law, reportedly feels the same way. A source said she doesn’t believe his apologies.

In January, Ye took out a full-page ad in The Wall Street Journal to apologize for his anti-semitic remarks. He said he “lost touch with reality” and became “detached” from his true self.
“I’m not asking for sympathy, or a free pass, though I aspire to earn your forgiveness,” he concluded. “I write today simply to ask for your patience and understanding as I find my way home.”
While Jenner hasn’t said anything publicly about the apology, it reportedly has not moved her.
“It’s a very delicate situation because Kris needs to play nice with Kanye for Kim’s sake, so it’s not something she’s going to address publicly,” a source told Radar Online. “But it’s no secret among Kris’ friends that she doesn’t believe a word of this apology tour.”
The source added that Jenner will struggle to forgive Ye because of the way he treated Kim Kardashian during their marriage.
“She’s a total mama bear and she hasn’t forgotten the hell Kanye has put her daughter through, or the way his behavior has affected the whole family, herself included, over the years,” the source said. “It’s not just the offensive comments, it’s the constant chaos he’s caused that Kim still has to deal with to this day.”
While she wants to see him get to a better place, she reportedly has doubts about the sincerity of his apology. Even if he is being truthful, she’s not sure it’s enough.
“He’s apologized plenty of times before. It doesn’t help his case that he’s got a new album coming out soon,” the source said. “Naturally, people are going to be suspicious about how sincere this is and what his motives really are. Kris hopes for Kanye’s sake that he’s being genuine, but he’s not changing her mind. As far as she’s concerned, this is too little, too late.”
