Although it took him some time to respond, Jay Cutler recently addressed his ex-wife’s statements. On his podcast, Take it Outside, the former NFL star dismissed Cavallari’s claims. He said her assertions were “borderline slander” and asked everyone to think about her words logically. Cutler insisted that no judge would approve a divorce settlement where Cavallari received nothing. He said that, considering his earnings, the length of their marriage, and her track record of prioritizing the family over her career while he was actively playing, it would have never happened like that. Cutler also questioned her assertion that Uncommon James was wholly hers. He reminded listeners that she launched the business during their marriage, and thus, it was considered a marital asset. The former signal-caller said he has the divorce decree to prove it.
While Cutler called out Cavallari for what he claims is a “lie,” if you listen carefully, his words are very measured.
