Kyle Richards’ relationship status has been complicated for a long time. While she entered The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in a seemingly stable marriage, that changed over time. Fans watched as she and Mauricio Umansky decided to separate while still living in the same house. They watched as he finally moved out and questioned why neither Richards nor Umansky bothered to file for divorce. Now, years after the split, they remain legally wed but live separate lives. Umansky has been spotted with several other women, and Kyle Richards is finally willing to put a new label on her relationship status.

Kyle Richards updates fans on her relationship status

Late last month. Mauricio Umansky was spotted getting handsy with another reality TV star in a very public place where paparazzi are known to hang out. It’s clear that Umansky doesn’t care who knows he is dating, nor does he seem bothered by people knowing how many women he is seeing. It’s unclear whether Kyle Richards caught wind of the recent reports, but her relationship status update seems suspicious.

Richards recently sat down with Extra to talk about the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She chatted about what is to come and even offered an update on her dating life. The reality TV star told the outlet that she is not currently dating, isn’t using the dating apps, and feels comfortable where she is right now. She admitted that, for the first time in a long time, she considers herself single. The admission is news to fans who have long wondered what Kyle Richards really thinks of her relationship status. She noted that initially she feared being alone, but has since embraced it.

She insists that she and her ex are good friends

Kyle Richards’ relationship status update might feel a bit bitter to some fans, considering the timing of the news. She doesn’t see it that way. Richards insists that there is no bad blood between her and Umansky. While she did not discuss his dating life or how that makes her feel, she did tell the outlet that they have remained good friends, and that she has no plans to file for divorce right now, though she supposes they will eventually. Richards said  she’s taking it “day by day.”

Mauricio Umansky Is Officially The Villain of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’

While RHOBH fans have long considered Mauricio Umansky the villain of the series because of the way he seems to be stirring Kyle Richards along, she seems perfectly fine with it. To be fair, he’s not really hiding his dating exploits, and she doesn’t seem upset by it at the moment. It’s unclear why they are both still holding onto the marriage, but they seem fine with their current arrangement.
