Kylie Kelce Knows She’ll Probably Get ‘a Little Judgement’ for Controversial Thanksgiving Plan
Kylie Kelce is currently planning Thanksgiving for her family, and she admitted some of her holiday plans might raise eyebrows. The podcaster and mother will seat her children at the kids’ table. In order to enjoy her meal without interruption, Kelce admitted that she always makes a slightly controversial move.
Kylie Kelce shared a Thanksgiving plan she thinks people might judge
Kelce looks forward to a day when her children join her at the table on Thanksgiving. That day, though, isn’t coming any time soon. On her Not Gonna Lie podcast, Kelce acknowledged that she might “get a little judgment” for this, but she always turns on the television for the kids.
“When we sit down to Thanksgiving dinner, I will probably put the kids’ table in the living room where we can see it from the dining room table, and I will put on the TV,” she said, per People.
She said that she wants to be able to enjoy her meal without interruptions. As her children are young, she knows that’s not possible now.
“There will come a time where my kids will sit at the table and indulge in the holiday meal in full,” she said, adding, “They’ll sit at the table. They’ll be engaged in conversation. They will actually eat the things presented to them. It’s okay that it’s not right now. And also selfishly, I wanna eat my food. So, how about that?”
How many children does she have?
Kelce and her husband, former NFL player Jason Kelce, have four daughters. They welcomed their eldest, Wyatt, in 2019. Their second daughter, Elliotte, arrived in 2021, and their third, Bennett, in 2023. Most recently, Kylie gave birth to Finnley in 2025.
Kelce said she hopes her daughters feel inspired by their father’s NFL career.
“I hope that ultimately they end up understanding that their dad had an impact on Philadelphia in a way that was wholesome and that he understood the city, enough that he wanted to stay there and raise a family there,” she told Today. “He gave his blood, sweat, and tears to the city, and it was out of sheer love and commitment. And I hope that my girls see that.”
For his part, Jason has said that he loves being able to spoil his daughters.
Kylie Kelce praised Taylor Swift’s cooking ahead of Thanksgiving
Kelce spent years married to an NFL player, and her brother-in-law is still playing. Due to the league’s schedule, Kelce admitted holidays can get hectic. Still, the family always tries to see each other.
“We do love to make sure that we make an effort, if possible, to see each other around the holidays,” she said, per Us Weekly. “So it’s a little bit difficult when people are moving all over the place, and since everyone is not all in the same area, it gets difficult. But we make sure that over the holiday season, that we carve out time to see each other.”
Kelce did not confirm or deny that Taylor Swift would spend the holiday with her in-laws. Still, she praised the singer’s baking skills, noting that the talented bakers in the family make it so she never has to make dessert.
“We do have some well-known bakers in the family,” she said. “Taylor makes a banging sourdough loaf. I mean, it’s so good. And pop-tarts.”
