Kylie Kelce talked holiday plans this week on her podcast Not Gonna Lie. During the most recent episode, she laid out who in the family brings cooking and baking skills to the big event. She noted that the family has people with top-notch baking skills, including Taylor Swift. Kylie pointed out that Swift’s sourdough is especially delicious, and that the family enjoys bread whenever she’s around to provide a loaf. While she chatted about her soon-to-be-sister-in-law’s sourdough skills, she didn’t break down the exact plan for the day. Rather, she insisted that they always find a way to make time for each other during the holidays.
Jason Kelce shared the plan instead. In a chat with People, Jason Kelce revealed that most of the cooking will fall to Kylie and her mother, with Donna Kelce stepping in on dinner roll duty. As for him, he’ll be a busy man, manning the turkey. He told the outlet that a deep-fried bird is on the menu and that he’s in charge of the process. From the sounds of it, the Kelce clan will be at home in Pennsylvania, but it looks like the holiday won’t include Travis, Taylor, and her famous sourdough on the exact day.

While Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will be celebrating their first Thanksgiving as an engaged couple, they won’t be doing it with family on actual Thanksgiving Day. Travis Kelce will be a bit busy on that particular day; he will be working. This is the first time in almost two decades that the Kansas City Chiefs are slated to play on Thanksgiving Day. That means it is Kelce’s first Thanksgiving Day game ever. He was drafted by the Chiefs 13 seasons ago.
It is unclear if Swift will travel with Kelce to Texas ahead of his game. She hasn’t appeared in away games so far this season, with outlets citing security concerns for her absence. We imagine that it won’t be much different for Thanksgiving. Kylie Kelce’s assurance that the family always makes time for each other around the holidays indicates that they are more than willing to shift the celebration around a bit to accommodate the extended family.
