Liam Hemsworth Proposes to Gabriella Brooks With Taylor Swift-Inspired Ring

Congrats are in order for Liam Hemsworth and Gabriella Brooks, who recently announced that they are engaged!

The model and actor were first romantically linked in 2019, after Hemsworth filed for divorce from his first wife, Miley Cyrus. The usually-private couple decided to go Instagram official in 2021, and just last month reports of a possible engagement began to circulate when Brooks was spotted with a new sparkler on that finger.

When sharing the news, Brooks posted snaps to her Instagram showing off her ring, and some noticed a major similarity to the one Travis Kelce gave Taylor Swift when he proposed.

The diamond experts at the fine jewelry retailer Steven Stone took a closer look at Brooks’ rock, noting how it’s similar to Swift’s engagement ring and to estimate how much it’s worth.

The expert added, “Cushion cuts, with their vintage-inspired appeal, are enjoying a resurgence in popularity. In fact, Taylor Swift recently received a 12-carat cushion-cut engagement ring from Travis Kelce, further fueling the trend. While Gabriella softened her photo with a blur effect, making it difficult to gauge the finer details, I’d estimate her dazzling sparkler could be worth around $200,000.”
