Several members of the royal family, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, the Princess of Wales (formerly known as Kate Middleton), and their three children, attended the 2026 Easter Matins Service at St. George’s Chapel on April 5.

After the mass concluded, the Waleses and other members of the family walked back toward Windsor Castle and waved to the crowd gathered, while the king and queen did a walkabout to greet the well-wishers standing outside the chapel.

Now, a professional lip reader is revealing what she noticed King Charles say to staffers around him as he shook hands and chatted with several fans.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Hickling shared with Showbiz Cheat Sheet that as King Charles interacted with the crowd, he said, “Happy Easter, everyone. A very Happy Easter.”

According to Hickling, the monarch then addressed his staff who were nearby, telling them, “Don’t rush me.”

The king moved along at his own pace and once he greeted as many people as he could, turned to his wife and said, “Are you ready? I’ll get in after you.”
