Lisa Rinna Accused Andy Cohen of Publishing Her Private Texts in His Memoir
Lisa Rinna and Andy Cohen had a slightly contentious relationship after she exited The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2023. Rinna compared the show to the Titanic, and she had some problems with his memoir. While Rinna said she is on solid terms with Cohen now, she doesn’t like that he put what she described as private text messages in his memoir.
Lisa Rinna said Andy Cohen put her private text messages in his book
In 2023, Rinna announced her exit from RHOBH after eight seasons on the Bravo series. Three years later, she said she is on polite terms with Cohen. One problem she still seems to have with him has to do with his memoir
“I’m fine with him today…he’s written his own books and done what he’s done,” she said on The Julia Cunningham Show. “You know, I think…he put my personal text messages in his book.”
She said that reading her book and seeing the messages she sent him shocked her.
“I had an idea, but then when I read it, and they were personal text messages to basically my boss,” she said. “And to have them show up in a book, I was like, ‘Wow, wow, wow’…don’t give it away, but you gotta read what happened. Don’t give it away.”
Now, Rinna is sharing her side of things in her own memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It.
“I don’t know if everyone is ready for all of the truth I am unloading in this book,” she told People. “But I was certainly ready to tell it.”
“Life comes with a lot of ups and downs, and so much of it gets lost ‘in the editing,’ if you will. It was time to share the director’s cut,” she added. “I put so much of myself into this book; the good, the bad and the wackadoodle. It feels really good to see it finally come together.”
The book comes out on Feb. 24, 2026.
