Lisa Rinna Admitted She Will ‘Never’ Rewatch Her Episodes of ‘RHOBH’: ‘It’s Challenging’
Lisa Rinna left RHOBH in 2023. While she made a number of enemies amongst the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast, she said she has no regrets. Despite this, she has no desire to rewatch her episodes of the show. She shared why she will avoid any of her episodes.
Lisa Rinna said she never wants to rewatch her ‘RHOBH’ episodes
After eight seasons on RHOBH, Rinna exited the show with enemies on the cast and amongst the fans. Upon reflection, she said she has no regrets about her behavior during her dramatic final season.
“Everyone always asks me if I have regrets about my behavior, especially during my last season,” she wrote in her book You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It (per InStyle). “I do not regret lashing out at Sutton [Stracke], or regret handling the Kathy [Hilton] of it all. I do not regret a minute of it. I was doing the best I could on a reality show a couple days after my mom died, and now that I look back on it, I say shame on them for the way they handled me.”
Though she has no regrets, she finds it slightly difficult to revisit any of those episodes. She felt this way about her entire time on the show, though, and has no plans to revisit it.
“I will say it’s challenging to watch the episodes but that goes for all eight seasons,” she wrote. “Now I see random clips and some of them are so f***ing funny, but I will never rewatch any of it. I don’t have any desire.”
She said this has less to do with wanting to cringe while watching herself, and more with simply wanting to move forward.
“I did it and I lived it,” she wrote. “I’m the type of person who’s moving on. My life motto is always, ‘What’s next?’”
Rinna moved on to an appearance on The Traitors.

Rinna said that during her tenure on RHOBH, she learned to be unapologetically honest. This is somewhat necessary for reality television, but she brought the lesson into her real life. Still, she admitted it felt like she was playing a character on the show.
“I always kind of saw myself and the other women as characters, even though we were playing ourselves,” she said. “When I watch it, it’s not like I’m necessarily watching myself. It’s almost like watching an actor playing myself.”
She maintains friendships with some of her former castmates
In many ways, Rinna feels like leaving the show has been good for her. She felt it has allowed her to be a better friend to her former castmates.
“Now that I’m far enough removed from RHOBH, I can be a better friend to my gal pals who are still on the show,” she wrote .”I have a certain amount of wisdom that I didn’t have while I was there.”
She said she has gotten dinner with Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, and Erika Jayne since leaving the show. She admitted they never would have done this off-camera while she was still on the show.
