Lisa Rinna Needed to Spend Time ‘Healing’ After ‘The Traitors,’ Said Her Daughter

After leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2023, Lisa Rinna returned to reality television to compete on The Traitors. Rinna’s daughter, model Amelia Gray, said she has no interest in following in her mother’s footsteps on the competition show. She said the way it impacted Rinna made her want no part of it.

Rinna was a Traitor on the most recent season of The Traitors. While she played an aggressive game, she was banished from the competition. Gray said she witnessed firsthand how stressful the game could be because of her mother.

“It’s fun when there’s a game to be played, but I also saw what that also does to a human being…having to lie and deceive for however many weeks or months,” Gray told Variety. “That does something to your brain.”

She admitted her mother needed some time to recover after competing on the show.

“She needed some healing time, for sure,” Gray said. “But that’s her own journey to explore and tell when she’s ready.”

Lisa Rinna shared where she stands with Colton Underwood after ‘The Traitors’

Ahead of the Traitors reunion, rumors have swirled that Rinna and Colton Underwood fought while filming.

“It’s silly,” Rinna told Variety. “It’s a game. I never meant any harm…Hopefully, we can all have a kumbaya moment.”

Underwood allegedly stormed off the set due to comments made by Rinna. She said she didn’t remember the situation that way.

“I didn’t see it myself,” she said. “I saw him leave, but I saw other people leave too, to go to the bathroom and such, but it took a long time for people to come back. That I can share with you.”

Still, she acknowledged that one question she asked Underwood seemed to agitate him.

“But let’s put it on the record, because they probably won’t air it, right?” she said. “I said, ‘Colton, I have a question for you: What did you mean when you said, “I’m going to take her hostage?”’ That’s all I said. And that spun him out.”

While Rinna and Underwood clashed, she said she didn’t want to see any online hate toward him. He admitted he received death threats over allegations made by his ex, Cassie Randolph.

“It’s just insane, and that is unnecessary,” Rinna said. “I do think that’s ridiculous. I’m fine with Colton. I think Colton is also fine with me.”

Her former ‘RHOBH’ rival shaded her 

Rinna’s time on The Traitors brought her some heat from her former RHOBH rival, Lisa Vanderpump. In a conversation with Extra’s Derek Hough, she discussed Rinna’s run on the show.

“Didn’t she get the hoof?” Vanderpump asked. “She did.”

When Hough said Rinna’s gameplay got “messy” and “emotional,” Vanderpump couldn’t resist making a dig at her.

“Oh, that’s unlike her, said no one ever!” she said.
