Lukas Gage had a very short-lived marriage to hairstylist Chris Appleton. Their romance didn’t last long, but they certainly dreamed big for their whirlwind Las Vegas wedding. That’s the one aspect of the entire fiasco that Gage seems to have a hard time living down. Funnily enough, Gage did not apologize for wasting Kim Kardashian’s time; she officiated the wedding.

Lukas Gage apologized to Shania Twain for wasting her time with “unhinged” wedding

Lukas Gage and Chris Appleton were married for just six months. By the time the episode of The Kardashians featuring their nuptials aired, they were ready to call it quits. Since the end of the union, Gage has been reflecting on the short-lived marriage that he now suggests was the result of a “manic episode.” He actually issued a public apology to Shania Twain, who performed “You’re Still the One” during the Las Vegas event.

Gage appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in March 2024, about four months after Chris Appleton filed for divorce. During his chat with Andy Cohen, he stopped to address Shania Twain. He said, “I want to apologize to Shania Twain for wasting her time.” Twain got word of Gage’s apology and took to Twitter to respond. It appears all is well between them. He went on to call the entire wedding spectacle “unhinged” behavior.

While Gage issued an apology for orchestrating the “biggest waste” of Shania Twain’s time, he wasn’t feeling nearly as apologetic toward Kim Kardashian. Kardashian, a longtime friend of Chris Appleton, actually officiated the Vegas ceremony.
